Sunset at Bandon

Bandon sunsets are famous.

Well. I mean that some of them are. Some of them are the most photographed sunsets ever: the craggy silhouetted rocks, the pink and purple and orange and even green clouds, the steely blue-grey sea.  Other sunsets, of course, aren’t quite so dramatic. The sky is often overcast, and the light just kind of fades. You don’t really see the sun go down.

But then, some days, you do. We were there one of those days. Even the really good photographers knew it would be one of those sunsets.
